Wipe MFT : Online Help
Wipe MFT provides an easy solution to wipe MFT records and Directory entries which store names, dates, size and other attributes of deleted files.
Main features
› Compatible with Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2008, 2003, 2000, ME, 98 (32-bit and 64-bit versions)
› Wipes MFT free space on NTFS disks (supports NTFS3, NTFS4, NTFS5)
› Wipes directory entries on FAT disks (supports FAT16, FAT32)
› Wipes deleted file records on hard drives, flash drives, USB drives, memory cards and more
› Ability to change deleted files so they look like folders
How to wipe MFT records / directory entries
1. Run the program and open the 'Wipe FAT/MFT records' window

2. Select the disk(s) and click 'Wipe Deleted File Records'
In the program settings you can optionally select to 'Change deleted files to folders'.
Note: You drive(s) will be locked while wiping. For normal operating you should close all running programs and opened files before you start wiping
